How much would you pay on a cat? Would you go as far as paying what a car is worth? In case you want to buy a designer cat, you should start saving up, this new breed is worth over $20, 000.
Having cats is nice. They are independent, but they still crave fro your affection from time to time and they are really enjoyable pets to have around. The cats do not need to be taken out for walks as dog do, they simply find their way round your home or outside it, and they come back to you most of the times. The price of a cat was never an issue to discuss, as cats are really inexpensive pets. The stray cats, which are also lovely, are basically for free. Even the rarest breeds will not go higher than a couple of thousands of dollars.
However, more recently, a new hybrid cat breed has been developed, and their price has topped $22,000, which is roughly the price of a car. This new trend in crossbreed cats is closely following the now unfashionable trend of designer dogs. But what is so special about this crossbreed cat that is cheeky enough to ask for more than $20, 000? Well, first of all, this type of cats do not shed, so they can be owned by those that love cats but have an allergy to cat fur. In addition, these new hybrid cats are very well- behaved and they are cute also. And they are unexpectedly popular too, so price is no issue for those people that really want a designer cat that won’t shed.
The crossbreed cats were the idea of Simon Brodie, who has come up with a combination of African and Asian breeds which is a winner mixture that brings $22, 000 each time a hybrid kitten is sold. The crossbreed cats are similar to small leopards and have the personality and the size of a domestic cat. Simon Brodie has named this new hybrid cat the Ashera, and it is a unique product belonging solely to Lifestyle Pets, which is Brodie’s company.
The Ashera hybrid cat is highly expensive, but is not the single pricey crossbreed. There are also other cats that were created as breed mixtures that are also very sought after. These are the Bengal, the Savannah or the Chaussie, which are pricey, but not as expensive as the Ashera, the cutting edge designer cat.
