How can you tell if you are dealing with a hormonal imbalance? The hormonal imbalance signs and symptoms are different for men and women. Learn to read these signs and act if it is necessary.

The hormonal imbalance may occur both at men and woman and may present itself with numerous hormonal imbalance symptoms such as fatigue, migraines, acne, oily skin, breast diseases, ovarian cysts, weight gain, insomnia and many more. But how to pinpoint the exact diagnostic of hormonal imbalance and not mistake it for something else?

For women the hormonal imbalance symptoms may be the followings: mood swings, lumpy and painful breasts, migraines, weight gain with no explanation, anxiety. All these hormonal imbalance symptoms point to a lack of sufficient progesterone. This hormonal imbalance can be effortlessly straightened out by giving up birth control pills, and using progesterone cream. The progesterone may be also in excess and this time the hormonal imbalance symptoms are bloating, weight gain, weepiness, migraines, heavy bleeding, and breast pain. There are also other signs hormonal imbalances such as depression, vaginal dryness, pain during intercourse, night sweats, memory loss and these are due to a lack of estrogen. Also, there might be the case of too much estrogen, this type of hormonal imbalance being shown by bloating, anxiety, mood swings, weight gain, and migraines. When the male hormones are too concentrated in women, we are dealing with another type of hormonal imbalance, which presents itself with acne, ovarian cysts, plenty of hair on the face and arms, high blood sugar. Last but not least, there is the hormonal imbalance which indicates a lack of cortisol, and will show signs of fatigue, dry skin, and trouble in concentrating, low blood pressure, and brown spots on the face.

For men, there are other types of hormonal imbalance. Weight loss, breasts, fatigue, erectile dysfunctions or issues with the gallbladder may indicate a testosterone deficiency. An excessive amount of estrogen will be indicated by the following hormonal imbalance symptoms in men: hair loss, growth of the breasts, bloating, weight gain, migraines, prostate swelling and irritability.

As you have seen, there are many hormonal imbalance symptoms, indicating different hormone deficiencies or excesses. In order to be sure which your case is, you should take some tests and see what the proper treatment for your hormonal imbalance is. As a rule, the hormonal imbalance treatment is simple and may contain just a few natural hormones that will fix you.
