Parenting a three year old is not a piece of cake and you may know it. So, learn the three year old behavior and deal with your baby the right way.

The three year old child can still be considered a baby, but the three year old behavior has some particularities and issues that you as a parent need to be aware of. As you have probably noticed, the three year old child is no angel. However, beating the child or using aggressive words is not part of the solution. Only by understanding the three year old behavior will you be able to keep things under control so that both you and your three year old child are happy.

So, what are the main three year old behavior problems? The baby at this age is starting to develop brand new skills and is trying to experiment as much as possible. The three year old behavior is specific in the way that will need their independence and this is when they get out of control. Three year olds are determined to do certain things and they are very stubborn in achieving their goals. You as a parent should be helpful and give aid to your child who is discovering the world, but you need to do this in a way that will avoid spoiling your kid. Be hard but also be nice- allow your kid to discover the world and do things their way under your strict surveillance. Try to intervene as less as possible. Also, try to keep your three year old busy with tasks in the house that they are likely to do and enjoy. Reward your three year old whenever he or she has done something positive.

When doing a negative thing, you should make your child see the consequences of these actions. You may also punish the kid in the way he or she will sense it. For example, if they like going to the park, the punishment may be not going to the park that day. Try to be strict, and have your set of rules. Don’t be malleable, even if your child’s eyes make you melt down. If you stay strong, your kid will learn what the rules are and that you control these rules, so they will start respecting them in order to get what they want.

The three year old behavior can be pleasant if you know how to handle your child. Remember to stick to your set of rules, be strong and be nice.
