The spam has reached a new level! It is sent on the cell phones as well. Find out details about the cell phone spam here.
The cell phone spam has arrived to scare all cell phone users. The spam first occurred on the Internet at the email users, the spam being any form of unsolicited email that occurred in your account from bogus addresses making all sorts of special offers and promises. And now, the spam has expanded being sent on diverse cell phones, so, basically all cell phone users are exposed to it.
The worse part about the cell phone spam is that they come in form of message texts that you will naturally open, and when opening these messages, a sum of money will be added to your next invoice. The sum may vary and it is around 10- 15 dollars, but this is quite costly for a piece of message you haven’t even solicited, containing nothing that can help you in any way. Sometimes, you may not even notice that you have been a victim to the cell phone spam (if you do not pay attention to your cell phone invoice), but this new generation spam has bothered many cell phone users so far.
As a result, in many ways the cell phone spam is more dangerous than the spam you get on your email inbox. Your email account has certain filters that selects the spam and places it in the bulk folder; plus you can recognize the spam messages, being from unknown people with an incredible subject, so you may avoid opening them. But the cell phone spam just comes in your inbox, and you tend to open it, even if it comes from an unknown phone number. Consequently, the cell phone service providers will have to figure out some systems to detect these bogus messages that will be the cell phone spam and make it vanish before arriving in your inbox. This will be complicated, as the messages containing spam could be sent from any cell phone number and thus may not be identified as spam, but there should be something that can fight this nasty cell phone spam which will only make you pay for no service at all.
So, beware of the cell phone spam and report any unwanted messages on cell phone, thus helping the cell phone service providers identify a system to fight the cell phone spam.
